NDL Central Florida

Dear 2010 REAL Bowl Participants & Faculty:

On behalf of NAIOP Central Florida, it is our pleasure to welcome you all to the 2^nd Annual NAIOP REAL Bowl Case Study Challenge.  Under the direction of our case competition committee whose membership includes real estate professionals throughout the Central Florida region, we have created a real world competition that will allow some of the best and brightest students from several colleges in Florida to showcase their talents on a conceptualized land development project.  Our mission is to create a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate level real estate students to work with local industry professionals in a mutually beneficial, experiential format. 

Throughout this website, you will find an outline describing the Challenge in greater detail, along with important dates you will need to observe when considering your involvement in this event.  Please review all the documents enclosed and take advantage of the resources we have provided. Also, do not forget about your professors and personal network as a source of aide in this event.   

The final judging and awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 15^th, 2010, at The Marriott Hotel, in downtown Orlando, Florida.  The finalist will present their development plans to a panel of judges during the day, with awards and dinner to follow.  Once the event has concluded, a cocktail party will commence to congratulate all the participants involved.       

In addition to the case competition, NAIOP Central Florida will be hosting their 14^th Annual NAIOP Golf Tournament at The Ritz Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes, on Friday, April 16^th, 2010.  We welcome all participants to register.  The information regarding registration and applicable fees can be found by clicking here.

The Committee has gone to great lengths to make this an event where the participants, and their respective schools, will gain practical interaction with the real estate industry, and recognition of their participation.  This event will bring education and networking to the forefront for all who participate and it will assist students hoping to further their careers in the real estate industry for many years to come.
